APPLICATION FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS 


1. Application for Login Account

Service Providers who are interested to be part of SEP should first apply for a login account on SEP portal. Applications for providers are open to individuals or registered companies/ organisations/ clubs interested in providing sports programmes to schools. Click here to apply for a login account.

Upon approval, you will receive a login ID and a password to your account. Using the login account, you will be listing in our mailing list to receive latest information pertaining to SEP, submit online applications for endorsement on a yearly basis during the submission window period, view information on your submissions and also check your endorsement status. 



2. Application for Swimming Programmes under SEP

Editing Endorsed SEP 2010/2011 Programmes
- SwimSafer Certified Coach

With effect from 5 July 2010, all Sports Providers offering swimming programmes will need their instructors / coaches to be SwimSafer Certified in addition to meeting the requirements of having minimum NCAP Theory Level 1 (or its equivalent), minimum NCAP Technical Level 1 (or its equivalent) and valid recognized first aid certification. SwimSafer Certification have to be uploaded on the SEP Portal under the individual coach <Other Coaching/Umpiring - Related Certifications>. 

- Instructor to Student Ratio at 1:10
The instructor to student ratio for all swimming programmes must be kept at 1:10, with the exception of programmes offered to Special Education schools, which will be at a lower ratio. 

- Individual Programme Application for Each Stage
Sports Providers offering the SwimSafer syllabus for Stage 1 to 6 will have to submit separate programme application for each stage. E.g. SEP Programme ID: 1234 – SwimSafer Stage 1, SEP Programme ID: 1235 – SwimSafer Stage 2

Resubmission of Programme(s) for SEP 2011
Sports Providers with endorsed swimming programmes under SEP 2010/2011 will have to resubmit the existing endorsed programme(s) for SEP 2011 during the application period from 1 September – 30 September 2010. All applications should be resubmitted online via the SEP portal http://sep.ssc.gov.sg under the <Submit New Programmes> button. The online system will be closed to all applications by 30 September 2010 at 2359hrs. Late applications will strictly not be entertained.

SwimSafer Instructor Course  
Please note that it is a requirement for all swimming instructors to be registered with NROC before they can enroll in the SwimSafer Instructor Course. Places for this course will be allotted on a first-come-first-served basis.

The SwimSafer Instructor Course details are as follow:

Date & Time   2 & 3 August - 9am to 6pm 
                      4 & 5 August - 9am to 6pm

Location        Geylang East Swimming Complex

3. Application for SEP 2011

The application for programme endorsement for SEP 2011 (1 January – 31 December 2011) will be from 1 September – 30 September 2010. All applications can only be submitted online via the SEP portal http://sep.ssc.gov.sg during the Application Period. The online system will be closed to all applications by 30 September 2010 at 2359hrs. Late applications will strictly not be entertained.

4. Application for NCAP Theory Accreditation

NCAP Theory Courses
Course Schedules are available for NCAP Theory Level 1, NCAP Theory Level 2 and NCAP Theory Level 3.
Registration can be done at http://sports.ssc.gov.sg.

NCAP Theory Accreditation
If you / your coaches are not equipped with NCAP Theory, but have other prior learning / experience / certificates, you may seek NCAP Theory Accreditation. 

Accreditation level will depend on evidence of prior learning.

To seek NCAP Theory Accreditation, please:
- Complete the NCAP Theory Accreditation Form
- Attach evidence of your relevant documentary proof of prior learning, e.g. academic/coaching certificates, transcripts with/and brief course descriptions, evidence of coaching experience (letters of appreciation, coaching awards, etc.).

5. Application for Programme Endorsement under SEP 

Only registered providers may submit applications for endorsement.

You may submit an application consisting of programme proposals, credentials of instructors/ coaches and other relevant information for endorsement. An Assessment Panel made up of representatives from schools, MOE and SSC will assess the applications and endorse suitable programmes under the categories Sports Exposure, Sports Play, Sports Development and Sports Leagues.

Steps to submitting your application submission 

1. Login with your ID and password 

2. Click on <Submit New Programmes> module 

3. Complete a short survey 

4. Read through the Programme Endorsement Guidelines and tick the acknowledgement boxes to proceed 

5. Input all coaches/instructors details. Please remember to attach all soft copies of certifications and supporting documents 

6. Proceed to submit programme details. Please remember to attach your programme lesson plan and photos 

7. Once done, either proceed to input more programmes for endorsement, or proceed to submit your programmes

8. At any point of time, you can choose to select “save as draft” to save your progress. To view your saved “drafts”, go to “Manage Programmes” module 

9. You are allowed to change the details of your submitted programmes before the closing date of submissions. Go to “Manage Programmes” module to make the changes

10. You are reminded to submit all your draft programmes by the deadline if not they will not be treated as submitted applications



APPLICATION FOR SCHOOLS


1. Application For SEP
Schools which opt in to SEP are entitled to a dollar-to-dollar grant for endorsed sports programmes under SEP, up to a maximum of $10,000 per school per calendar year. In the SEP portal, these schools will be given access to the full details of all SEP endorsed programmes upon login. Interested schools should indicate their interest to SSC via email to
ssc_sep@ssc.gov.sg.
